Heat underfoot
Electric in-slab heating was laid before the tiling went down — the floor is warm by six most winter mornings, on a timer.

A dated ensuite, rebuilt around a single arched mirror and a lot of restraint.
The Brief
The brief was one room, done properly, rather than five rooms done adequately. We stripped the ensuite back to brick, corrected years of patched waterproofing, and rebuilt around an arched mirror set into full-height stone-look tiling.
Because it was a single-room renovation inside an occupied home, the family kept using the main bathroom throughout — the job was sequenced so hot water and one working toilet were never both offline at once.

Shot over three visits — dawn, midday and dusk — so the material palette reads the way the family will actually live in it.

What's inside
Every line here is something we insisted on — not something added to fatten a quote.
Signature moments
Small decisions that only reveal themselves once you're living in the house. These are ours for this project.

Because the family stayed in the house, every trade was sequenced individually so there was always a working bathroom somewhere on the block.
The vanity mirror was custom-cut to a precise radius, then hung with concealed brackets so no fixing is visible.
